Our “Remote Expert” solution has been rolled out in a global pharmaceutical multinational across initially 6 sites, in 3 countries and two continents in multiple languages. Remote Expert has allowed completely secure communications to take place between individual sites and external partners to facilitate expert intervention to onsite issues and technology transfer programmes. Remote Expert is unique in its approach to the secure communications channels by using a dedicated secure server which is only accessible by authorised, licenced users and does not allow audio, video or any other shared content to pass through public server channels. This has allowed a fully-secure streamlined technology and information transfer between sites making greater consistency in both approach and capabilities.

The Solution is being used on PCs, Tablets and Headsets ensuring that the right hardware can be used for the right situation to better optimise the solution’s capabilities. This combined with unique user accounts for traceability and a dedicated customer server for security allow the Remote Expert to be as adaptable and robust as possible regardless of the situation.

Training was provided to users remotely for both software and hardware along with continuous support and engagement via a structured SLA model. This ensured a smooth adoption of the new technology via a collaborative change management process.
